Yosemite Renaissance is celebrating its twenty-seventy year with an exhibit of 48 paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures by forty-two artists. Painting - Drawing - Sculpture by Bob Nugent & Lynda Nugent
Bob & Lynda Nugent are established artists who also happen to be a married couple sharing a large art studio in the hills of Sonoma County. Although very different in approach and medium, their art draws attention to the world of nature, from the subtle colors, forms and textures found in the Rain Forest, to the powerful forms emitting from a volcano, or as Lynda says, “extreme nature”. Both artists, in their own way, take something from these encounters to create work that draw attention to the fragility and power found in nature while giving us beautiful images to enjoy.
