Session 1
Introduction Day: Mannequin Art
- Intro to art techniques
- Principles of design, shading, light & dark values
- Drawing from reference to test capabilities and understanding
- Supplies: wooden mannequins, mixed media paper, colored pencils, pencils
Create a sketchbook for notes in class, sketches on projects, etc.
Session 2
Project Startup Day: Beyond the Border
- A new project with more in-depth techniques
- Space, Value, Contrast, Color, & Focal Points
- Begin to choose the main focal point & draw sketches
- Supplies: Canvas panels, acrylic paint, black pens, paint brushes, pencils aprons, water cups
Session 3
Continuation Day: Beyond the Border pt. 2
- Go over, and check on progress from the last class
- Continue on the project, assist/supervise students if needed
- Add details to the background, once done with the drawing portion get prepared to start painting if they have not already done so
- Goal: finish the project by the end of this class
Session 4
Final Day: Freestyle Small Project
- Hopefully, all students finished the last project, if so start a new one
- Graffiti Name Art Freestyle: Students get main control
- Teach them different font styles to choose from & start the sketch .

Supplies: Mixed media paper, pencils, aprons, paint brushes, the medium used is up to students, options for medium:
