Teaching Artists

Our Adult Art Education Program is designed to encourage artists of all levels to pursue their creative interests, take risks, and develop their artistic skills. We do so through the work of innovative Teaching Artists who host Workshops and Classes based upon their own artistic knowledge and skills. An ideal Teaching Artist will help both beginning students to gain a strong foundation in the history, materials, and techniques of the media presented, while also allowing more experienced artists to gain fresh perspectives in both content and technique.

If you are interested in hosting your own Workshop or Class as a Teaching Artist at the Kings Art Center, please email your Workshop/Class Proposal and resume to our Executive Director at director@kingsartcenter.org

Our Proposal Form is located under the photo to the left on desktops, above this paragraph on phones/ tablets

Self Made Proposals must include the following information:

• Instructor’s name and contact information.
• The dates and times you are available to teach.
• Class/Workshop Title
• A short description of the class/workshop, including learning objectives, experience level, and expected artwork outcomes.
• Mediums and techniques that will be explored during the class/workshop.
• Age group(s) that the class/workshop is designed for. (Adult, teen, school-aged, preschool, etc.)
• A list of materials/supplies needed for the class/workshop.
